For those happily married

I had my eye on the prize and knew exactly who and what I wanted. All of my friends were dating around still, but I love DH more now than when we married. When we announced our engagement we got so many replies of "why rush?!" It feels like society says "wait, wait, wait" and then the next year it's "you're old! Your eggs are getting old! all the good men are taken! You just can't win unless you do what you know is right.

Totally agree!

I was 24, he was 26. He was my 2nd boyfriend and 2nd person I slept with and we have been for 10 years.

We met when we were 20 and have been monogamous since. We got married at 26 and just celebrated our 10year, but really it has been 16.

Prior, I definitely had sex with probably nearly 10 guys. I had 2 semi-serious relationships. One guy broke my heart into a million pieces (I actually think it was the mind blowing sex that I was in love with, the first man to make my orgasm multiple times, one on top of the other, but I learned a lot about sex with him!) and the other guy I broke up pretty bad.

Even though I was 20 and still immature, I knew when I met my DH, he was a keeper. He was so kind and such gentleman. He is a natural born protector and to me that was and still is so sexy. He strikes the perfect balance of kindness and tenderness, with a strong streak of masculinity.
