GoT Final Episode

Needless to say, I've been waiting for them to get to Braavos because now is when it really is going to get good with Arya.

As a book reader, Arya's storyline is my favorite! I'm looking forward to her story arc next season.

Is this the new, cruel Arya, letting the Hound die a lingering death? Did Brienne come and finish him off? Is there some hope he has lived into Season 5? and will be joining the fun kids in Braavos?

Also, question about Shae -- did she ever really care for Tyrion? Was she always an agent of Tywin? I thought she testified at the trial to get back at Tyrion for making her go, because she was hurt by him, but if she was sleeping with Tyrion, it seems like maybe she was his whore all along.

I think, while Arya developed an allegiance toward The Hound because she really had no choice, she still recognizes that he belongs to no one, and still has an axe to grind with him because he killed her friend. I also think there's an internal struggle, because she doesn't want to kill him, because he is her friend, but she still wants him to suffer, because of what he did. So walking away was the perfect choice for her. Does that make sense?

I think Shae definitely cared for Tyrion; she met him before she met Tywin. She was easily swayed by Tywin and his crew because she was deeply hurt and he left her with no real closure. To a much lesser extent, I think we've all been there!
