What do you care? If its not on your property, don't worry about it. This is exactly WHY people like you will never have enough money to afford a new house. You are too busy spending your time trying to police the neighborhood. You know, like the insane, gun toting, "neighborhood watch" George Zimmerman types. If you want to better the neighborhood, move somewhere else.

This is also what shows a huge lack of class, independent of money. MYOB's show far more class than do-nothing know it alls that know very little and show it at every opportunity. The "big swinging dick" syndrome of the teeny tiny penis. Please, stop announcing to the world how frustrated you are with your own life. We are tired of hearing your whining.

Someone's whining, but it isn't PP.

Are you this unhinged about every subject in your life?

Wow! I can't believe this issue making national news. This is about three miles from my house, and I think the lawsuits are ridiculous, as do most of the neighbors in the district this house sits in. It's really just a handful of crazies that are he'll bent on making these people tear down the house. I really hope the home gets finished. It's really a shame that it his happened. If the plans were approved, they should be able to move forward!

Except that (among other things), the whiners single handedly tainted the reputation of that particular neighborhood, and probably tainted any future sales, or worse. They really do need to get over their teeny penis size. It seems a nerve was hit with PP, probably a loser, shet stirrer himself

I hope the owner finds the best property lawyer and recovers every last penny and more everything from those loser whiners. A lien on their houses might serve them right. Then they won't have to worry about what their new neighbor is doing...anymore....Buh bye to them!

Problem is, they think the architect is as stupid as they are. Good for him, I say.

No win for anyone here now, with the neighbor already suing, unfortunately.

There's still hope, lol.

What a bunch of A***!!!
Even if I don't like it, I don't have the right to cause that kind of financial devastation to another family simply because I do not like the style of their house. What selfish jerks!!!!!

Has the general taste level fallen so far?

I like the style of the original homes and the style of the new house and I think it looks great (and it isn't even done yet).

I find it very hard to believe that this gentleman ultimately would be told to tear down his house. Seems to me at best the plaintiffs might get a court order directing him to make some modifications to make it blend into the neighborhood a little better, maybe requiring some landscaping cover or something.

I feel like this is a trumped up story being made into a "very big deal" by some hysterical types.

That would be a sad day for design. Maybe a few architects can tell the court how it should rule in some unrelated case.

Seems to me the hysterical ones are the complaining neighbors. One would hope they had better things to do with their time, than to notice what the new house is doing. Alas, chances are they are very threatened by it, and have a problem with new construction, since it would raise their taxes and likely cause them to move in the next few years. Good riddance, indeed.

I hope all of the houses end up looking like the new one, for that matter!

The problem here is that the folks who issued the permits made their decision, and now the builder has a right to rely on that decision.

+1

I don't see this as a "problem" at all!

They sound like a bunch of nosy, sad, disparaged, looky-loos who need to MYOB and STFU. In that order. Their opinion carries no weight, no matter how threatened, hysterical and totally disillusioned they may be.
