Seems to me the hysterical ones are the complaining neighbors.  One would hope they had better things to do with their time, than to notice what the new house is doing.  Alas, chances are they are very threatened by it, and have a problem with new construction, since it would raise their taxes and likely cause them to move in the next few years.  Good riddance, indeed.

I hope all of the houses end up looking like the new one, for that matter!
