Why should I care what some other parent is wearing when they drop off their child at school in the morning??!
Any person who actually is paying attention and letting themselves be bothered by another parents slippers obviously has some deep-rooted issues that need to be addressed. Perhaps a mental health forum?...... |
Not OP, but of course it is. |
Wasn't there a huge thread here about one dad at Janney who wore those shoes that look like feet all the time? |
| Only if you are old money/New England. See unintentional status symbol thread. |
| I wouldn't even notice. Or care. |
| Its up to the individual if they want to wear their slippers in the street. I have never quite understood it myself. Slippers are for indoors. What do people do when they get home, change into another pair? We are a shoes off house and wear slippers at home and when we visit we take them to change into when we arrive, but we don't go out in them. If someone did come to our house already in their slippers we would ask them to take them off. |

I wouldn't even know that those wren't shoes.
How are they different than moccasins? or other similar leather shoes? I wear moccasins (with hard sole) pretty often. They are sold for outside use but could easily be a "slipper" too. |

No, it's not okay.
Your IP address has been investigated and this infraction has been reported to the Footwear Squad. Expect your front door to be caved in any minute with a giant shoe horn. |
You are a bitch. |
| It is fine. Who cares? He was dropping his kid off at school not going to court. |
| I would not care. If it's your spouse, OP, maybe be glad that he is wearing lady-repelling shoes on his feet? |
| I think it's fine as long as the parent's HHI exceeds $500k. |
