Not the OP, but I'm leaning towards MV over my current school. The commute isn't that great, but we will make it work.

I have 2 kids at Stokes in PR-K and K, so happy to give any thoughts about it or answer questions. I have been very pleased with my kids' performance and development at Stokes and I absolutely LOVE the teachers. Commute is not as bad as I previously thought and the cafeteria food is the best you will see. My only complaint has been the parking situation there and the lighting around the school, but these are things that can be fixed and I believe the school is aware of...

From where are you commuting?


A few block up from Walter Reed. It will be a great option for the MS/HS years, but 5 years driving downtown will be a pain.
