What feature of the new craftsman style house is most likely to become outdated?

gray paint- it's everywhere... I like it, but it will obviously go out quickly because it's getting over saturated.

I hope the trend of 5,500 sq ft monstrosities will one day be a thing of the past, and people will start wanting houses that merely meet their needs and have much less of an environmental impact. I'm probably delusional, though.

For sure, white kitchens and possibly wood floors in kitchens, two or three pendant lights over an island.

Not exactly a trend when it's been the most popular color for decades.

Totally disagree, it's definitely a 2000's thing, in the nineties, it was cherry cabinets with dark granite. Before that, oak cabinets.

Nope. It's been the most popular color year in and year out. You're right about the cherry with dark granite though. That was totally a fad.

It seems pretty wasteful to have a full bathroom in every single bedroom.

I don't mind larger houses if you need them for whatever reason, but I do not like 2-story foyers or 2-story great rooms. It just feels like too much wasted space to me. But I don't think they will go out of style or seem dated since having as grand a foyer or vestibule as possible was an aspiration since early times.

You must have a new white kitchen.

I don't like them either; the foyers, at least, seem to becoming less common.
