Yes, seriously, we are currently at the school and the church across the street and triangle park is full of homeless people. MV, parents and people in the neighborhood have reached out to the institutions that serve the homeless population in our current area and there is also a police officer that periodically checks the playground/parking lot. The kids are safe. I am sure they will implement similar efforts. This is a city, my god!

That little park has been notorious FOR YEARS as a hang out for homeless people.

It's pretty funny that new MV families are complaining about SOME. They bus people in from the homeless shelters to eat in the mornings, very early. By 8:30ish, they are mostly gone to other more exciting neighborhoods - like that little triangle park in Columbia Heights.
