I'm 46 with 2 children and wear size 6. |
I'm 39 and wear a size 4 and 27 in Seven for all mankind. My weight is 111 and I have 2 kids. |
Good Lord, how tall are you? I'm not sure I have ever weighed 111. Perhaps in utero. |
I'm 5 feet. |
5'7" and a size 0 or 2 sounds too thin. And no, I'm not jealous, I'm at a healthy weight and in shape. |
Just about to turn 40 -- I'm 5'3", 142 lbs and wear anywhere from a size 6-10 depending on the brand. I just bought a pair of Lucky Jeans in size 28. I have one child and gained 40 lbs while pregnant. |
I'm 37, mom of three under the age of five.
5'2", 177 pounds. I wear a 16. ![]() |
I'm 42, 5' 4", and wear size 4 jeans. Looking to expand my jeans repertoire though, and venture into some other brands. |
10:41 here. Will add that I have one child. Same size as pre-baby, but with age everything has. . . shifted, shall we say. |
53, 5'3", 155 lbs.
I wear size 14 but as an adult never have been smaller than size 12 even when I was my "fighting" weight and cycling/running/swimming like a madwoman (why it took me so long to make it through grad school!). I'm a stocky person, built like a fireplug. My problem is the current style. What fits my thighs is way too big for my waist. I'm waiting for when we go back to looser legs and higher waists -- then I'm going to buy a lifetime supply of pants. (I should have done that in the 80s! ![]() |
Jeans are so frustrating to me! I am 4'11" and weigh 128, but I can not fit into designer jeans. Even the 32 is too tight! In Levi's I wear an 8, in Banana Republic I wear a 6, but Joe's, Citizens, Paige, etc. I can not get over my big butt! |
HIya, I"m 36 and I can't eat more than 1500 calories without exercise a day. Otherwise I gain weight. I'm very short, 5'2"... It's so annoying. I've been sick with colds so I haven't worked out in ages... can't say i'm motivated to start back again. Honestly, I think eating less is ok. But is starvation of some sort. Oh well, I heard you live longer if you eat less ![]() |
Yes you do live longer if you eat less. |
I read that the median size for women in this country is a 12-14. I would bet the same is true for this area. What brand of jeans you wear has nothing to do with your size or age but your style. Don't we all want to avoid the Mom jeans with no shape and unflatteirng look? You know the over the waist big jeans with too much fabric in the stomach/crotch area? Wear the jeans that you feel hot in...it ould never be Mom jeans!! |
I have an odd figure. I am a little over 5'8 about 148 lbs-- would like to be about 140. I wear a 6 in most things but I wear 30 in jeans or size 8 usually. I like the more stylish jeans and encourage all moms to try to buy one pair of great jeans (try filenes and loehmans for deals). (Sevens, Citizens, Rock/Republic, etc.)
