OP here- I did not make the snarky comment about level of date night restaurant/Bethesda. I'm surprised recommendations for a restaurant turned a little mean!

We have taken our toddler to places like Tower Oaks and Sugo in the past, mainly b/c we can either go outside or thete is a huge lobby he likes to run around in and we don't feel bad disturbing everyone since we are in a different section.

There were a few resturants on the list we haven't tried yet and I really appreciate all the recommendations!

Just about everything turns mean on this site, surprised your are surprised. Too many people seem to get their daily thrill by sending off some dismissive post. Be nice if people could learn to be nice or helpful and delete the snarky posts -- you can write them if it makes you feel better but delete before you post.

Addie's closed in November.

I tried Wildwood Kitchen in Bethesda recently and it was delicious. Founding Farmers is also good.

Really? Addie's closed?

Harris Teeter. The sushi is amazing and they have very romantic tables on its sidewalk.
