Can someone explain to me the difference between basmati, jasmine, and white rice? We eat basmati and jasmine.

It is astonishing how dumb so many PPs are. Uh, doy, I thought the problem arsenic. Where is this cancer talk coming from??????? I didn't know about CANCER!!!!!

If you're still reading, I must ask: why do you think anyone would care about arsenic in the first place, if not because of its toxic effects on the body? Did you think we avoid eating arsenic because it's hard to spell, or smells odd, or .... what?

Toxic effects means a range of things, indignant PP. It could cause neurological damage, brain damage, heart damage, etc.

A 3 second google of three words (arsenic effects body) list several reputable sites (CDC) discussing cancer links.

But that's not the actual problem with the dumb PPs, if you read their bewilderment in their quotes

Yes. We eat rice 1-2x/week, split about equally between brown rice and white rice. Do not rinse, but now I'm reconsidering.
