Grocery store pet peeve

Cheap plastic bags that are worthless. Safeway needs to take a cue from Wegmans in this department. If they bought better bags you wouldn't need to double bag.

People who don't know how to use the self-checkout, and decide that peak hours is the time to learn.

People who use the scanner checkout to scan their order as if it's a regular self-check line. Thanks for making my self-scan pointless, you stupid asshole.

Thanks for letting me vent. Now you tell me yours.

Ha! I usually complain about the crowd at that Giant but this weekend was out in Sterling visiting a friend and the grocery store was packed. Way more than any around Alexandria. I realized how spoiled I am because we have so many grocery stores close by that none ever gets packed to the level that they do in the ex-burbs.

Who uses those bags anyway? Bring your own bags, weirdo. I guess you don't live in DC or MoCo.

You sound like such a kind person. You must have heard a really inspirational sermon today. God bless.

I did hear a sermon. It was about taking care of Mother Earth and being good stewards of the environment. Guess your pastor hasn't talked about that yet.
