You people are soft. When I was in school, we wore the proper boots and walked in snow and ice to get there. You are raising a society of wimps. Just walk slowly and pay attention.

Some kids in DC might not be able to afford proper boots.

WE should just shut down every day then since some kids can't afford boots, coats, gloves etc..the schools alraedy provide three meals to a lot of kids everyday, passes everyone through to 8 th grade regardless of ability. Damn, the least they can do is get to school. Talk about low expectations!
