Closet doors: bi-fold, bypass (sliding) or French?

Hm. Not sure why someone revived my five year old thread, but reporting back we went with sliding to save space and they look lovely, just like the picture and I've had no regrets.

I know our decision isn’t popular. In our home all the bedrooms have mirrored sliding doors. The closets are 12-15 feet long and I think doors would have been plain or odd looking. They reflect a lot of light and our kids love them. I think we have become better dressers as well because we can take in the whole head to toe and wander around to check out different angles.

It never occurred to me that people would want to “see all their stuff” at the same time. That’s what basic organization is for- you shouldn’t need to unless you are a hoarder.
