She's being a petty jerk. How the hell would doing your laundry at her house take time away from her? I do my laundry on telework days and I can reassure you that it takes no more than 10 minutes to sort stuff and transfer it between washer and dryer. You don't have to fold it while you're over there, though you could.

Sheesh. And this is after you are spending all your nights at her place because that's her preference. I'm single and don't understand how all these ridiculously high-maintenance women have boyfriends and some of my easygoing friends are single. good lord.

My guess is she has never been married, does not have kids, and is in her 30's, possibly mid to late. Am I right? Does she have special needs cats? (That last one would be a bonus psychic impression if it was a hit).

Ive had guy friends (and even my dad who found himself single after my mother died) meet more than one version of this woman. They are super aware of their needs, not so much of anyone else's and they have no idea what it means to have kids and other people to care for nor awareness of the need to make time for those "other people".

This "no compromise" attitude is a big red flag dude. Its all about control. She wants your dick in one place, and your laundry and work in another. She doesnt like your place, your laundry, nor, probably, your kids. I bet she doesnt show interest in meeting them.

You already have been through marriage once, I take it. Perhaps now you find yourself single and wanting companionship and she was a reasonable candidate But you have been assimilated, dude. At least that is where this is headed. Do you really need to sign up for this?

Whatever her reason is for being upset about this, it's not good enough. If your relationship is intimate enough to spend 5 or 6 nights a week there, then it's intimate enough that you should be able to show up with a bag of dirty clothes in hand and say, "Hey, thought I'd do my laundry while I'm here, 'kay?"
