| You have to upgrade and buy the good ones. They cost a lot more. |
This. The mass production buns (Pepperidge farms, Aunt Millie’s, Etc) are standard size. Problem is restaurants and take out burgers have gotten so much bigger. Not ordinary buns seem mini. Same as muffins. Muffins used to be the standard size you’d make at home with the regular papers. You would be hard pressed to find a muffin that small for sale in any bakery. People want big huge portions now |
| Yes they are |
Biden... |
|
They were oversized to begin with, so maybe that's a good thing? |
| I would not know. We mill our own flour and make our own brioche buns. |
Yes the serm to have gotten smaller |
| I buy the sleeves of pre-made burgers at Costco. And, the potato buns (my families preference) also are Costco. The burgers are way bigger than the buns! |
Do you do it or does your personal chef? |
|
Haha! I found this when I searched “have hamburger rolls gotten smaller?”
So, I think yes! They’re barely bigger than sliders now. I also found info that fast food places have shrunk both the buns and what goes in them |
Naw, people are just used to "super sized" crap at fast food places. |
I grow my own wheat |
| Shrinkflation |
| yes but pepperidge farm ones are still big but EXPENSIVE |
| To me they seem way too big. Maybe your burgers are oversized? |
