This thread is helpful and a relief to see I'm not the only Mom who bathes her kids every other night and washes hair only 2-3x per week. I was just chiding myself and vowing to start nightly baths and shampoos as part of a new routine! |
Spanish women don't come to US to be nannies. |
PP, the other poster was just assuming that people from South and Central America are "spanish" - and probably assuming that all nannies are "spanish"...typical white trash ignorance ![]() |
Is this some kind of meta-humor? |
1 or 2 x per week. or when it is otherwise dirty. Dirty is defined by sticky, food in hair, can't brush.
|
2x/week. my DD is 2.
apparently lice actually like clean kids though so washing hair does nothing to prevent getting lice. |
ya gotcha ![]() lol |
Who said that Spanish women came to America to be nannies? Not what was said. What was said was that she was dropped on her head by their spanish nanny. That in no way says Spanish women come here to be nannies, what it says is that HER nanny who dropped her WAS spanish. |
I'm telling you there are no Spanish nannies in the US.
do you want me to make a drawing so you can understand better? |
Are you telling me that in this entire country there isn't one Nanny from Spain?
Also if the poster who mentioned her "Spanish Nanny" could be from Europe, you never know. |
Yes there are. My nanny was Spanish. And she came here to be one... So HA. |
In the summer we wash the kids hair (and body!) almost daily because they get really sweaty and grimy most days and I always like to get all the sunscreen washed off of them.
In the fall/winter I wash their hair 2-3 times a week. |
We're lucky to get hair done once a week so i'm glad to see this thread (DC is 5). In the summer, DC goes to camp and swims several times a week so we worry less |
Every day. Always have from new born to now.... (ages 5 and 7). Never had any problems with cradle cap or dry skin or hair. That's what lotion and conditioner are for.... ![]() |
