#3 due in three weeks less than a month before I turn 39....

I know it is common in our generation, but still. I must say that I feel much older and quite self-conscious this time around!

Despite being fit, I can really see my body aging: first gray hairs, wrinkles, softer skin,...
and I remember feeling sorry for the few kids who had parents who could be grand-parents when I was growing up.

What to do....

Good for you. You definitely will be one of the youngest in this area. I am the 36 year old second time mommy above you - I'm definitely one of the youngest mommies at my first child's school. It's a little weird, actually.

36 seems to be a pretty average FTM around here.

42- was preg in spring but m/c in May... Currently ttc! My other kids range from 20-10 lol- Dj and want 'one last one '

His brother and two other sets of friends became grandparents thus year -I love seeing 'older' mamas here!!!!

Was this a surprise pregnancy or did you go through secondary IF? We had our first at 28, waited 4 years to TTC #2 for a number of reasons, and then spent 3 years with no luck naturally before finally going through IUI.

Give birth with a midwife. They will only make you do extra tests if you actually need them not just because of your age.

Hey well, I waited for about 5 years after DC before we really wanted another--was busy building my career. Then for two years I thought I was making too much money and acquired a gambling problem. Because of that, DH was withholding. Finally got on the wagon for that and DH still wouldn't work with me (he was still mad). Finally I got serious, DH got serious and $40,000 later got pregnant naturally (that was the surprise!)
