So let me get this straight. You hate all the grocery options in your close in locales and you want the options we have out in the 'burbs, but you endlessly make fun of us for living in the suburbs, even if we still are living in WFC, Reston, Annandale, etc.

In Crofton, we have Shoppers, Giant, Safeway, and Wegmans. I shop all all of them. Wegmans is my favorite, but I will no longer buy fresh berries there, as they're moldy within 24 hours every time. No idea why.

I like my giant (S. Arlington). I have never had issues there.

Potomac real estate is too expensive, Germantown real estate is not. Wegman's a okay but personally I don't understand why everyone thinks it's so great.

Giant in McLean is fine. Tyson's whole foods is awful!! (As far as whole foods goes)

Giant sucks, but Safeway sucks worse. It's Whole Foods for me. I spend a fortune on groceries but it's worth it.

I love Costco. They carry non GMO rice.

I bought salmon from there and had horrible food poisoning. Never again!

I missed Publix so much when I lived in DC. We're back "home" for a while and I'm LOVING shopping at Publix again. DC desperately needs a Publix - Where shopping truly is a pleasure!

I love the new Penrose Giant. I've never had any of the problems the pp are talking about.

Giant duke street in Alexandria is fine but I agree with OP on product placement. It makes no sense and I have to search the store as I don't shop there regularly. I always forget stuff when I go their bc I don't see it. You can find stuff like chips in 3 different sections of the store. It's a hot mess.
