Oh, I got a prize alright...as I sat in my chair pumping at midnight for months, staring at my peacefully snoring husband, I formulated my prize- an antique 3 stone diamond ring. Originally I was going to pump for 9 months so I figured the 3 stones represented multiples of 9 months...and then found I couldn't quit, but i got my ring, damn it!!

I didn't. We adopted but I would not have even if I had given birth. We did give our child some breastmilk and he did not react well to it (birthmom pumped). Formula was far better.
