Pinterest has made me....

PP,

I read this last night intending to try it. I had a weird dream during the night that I put eggs in plastic Easter eggs in the oven and had to clean off all the melted plastic bits. In the dream I was thinking what a dumb idea.

It has been great for party ideas, kids projects, recipes, home decorating BUT I hate the competitive nature it's instilled. Sometimes, it's worth the laugh though. I've seen the Pinterest mom who was doing the Olympics obstacle course for 12-18 month olds and it was hilarious to watch these mom's trying to get these kids to do the events. It was like herding cats!

really? I don't a competitive vibe at all from pinterest...interesting.

i saw a project for melting old/broken crayons in a silicone container to make heart haped crayons that you give uiot at the preschool valentine's day party. i actualyl had a silicone heart shaped ice cube maker, so used it, but couldn't get the leftover crayon off the pan, so a friend of mine suggested popping it back in the oven, so teh next time i baked, after i turned the oven OFF, i popped my silicone tray into the oven. five minutes later, the fire alarm went off and the whole damn thing had melted. i truly can't figure out why or how it happened, since i always thought silicone is guaranteed up until 600 degrees!

Ok I have a question: for the pinterest recipes that call for dawn dishwashing liquid, can you use some other brand like palmolive? Why is it always dawn?

Have you ever heard how they use Dawn on the animals that are affected by oil spills? I think it has something to do with being really good at cutting grease/grime?

Dawn works the best. I guess you could try it without another brand, but probably wouldn't get as good results.
