Thanks, I promise myself not to go into his room when he is at school.
He does have lots of other good qualities.

My 13 year old DS does all his own laundry. 12 year old DD just started doing hers too. I think you could switch over.

Ever find yourself saying, If he is smart enough for AAP, he is smart enough to do a chore...?

Have him do his own laundry, but be thankful he wears clean clothes every day. Teenage boys are sweaty! They need to wear a fresh set of everything daily. Jeans can maybe go two days.

Sometimes he is plain lazy and puts things off.

One more question-would you have a set day of the week to have him do it on and then enforce it?
Thats what I was thinking but it sounds like you guys think I should just leave it be for him to handle.

He is quite an immature kid and has ADHD.

HE leaves his bath towel on his bathroom floor every day. He puts his clothes on the floor beside the hamper, instead of IN THE hamper.
He wont replace his toilet paper roll unless reminded. (He has his own washroom). Laziness or normal?

Normal, lazy, and pls continue bugging him about it for the future wife's sake.

+1.
Op, are you European? He should wear clean clothes every day.

Most people wear jeans more than once without washing, assuming they weren't worn during physical activity.

My teens are like I was; I never wore jeans more than one time without washing until I went to college and had to do laundry myself. As for the rest of their clothes, I agree with the PP -- I am glad they only want to wear them once! Phew!
