A bird just pooped on my shoulder. Does this mean I will have good luck?

Not for me. A bird pooped on my head when I was on my way to an interview. The interviewer was ready to met early in the lobby of her office building, so I didn't even have a chance to go to the washroom and clean up. I spend the whole interview looking at her sideways, hoping she wouldn't see the poop on my head. Didn't get the interview.

I've gotten pooped on twice in my life by birds (on my shoulder)and on both occasions I had been able to find or reclaim something that I lost those days. First time was a sweater I thought I had lost playing in my school yard during lunch break in elementary, bird poops on me, and withing minutes I see the sweater on the ground from a distance. Second time was my lunch which I'd forgotten on a school bus during a field trip. By the end of the day as we're getting ready to leave, (seagull poops on me) shortly after it dawned on me to check each bus to see if my lunch was there. I then see my lunchbox next to the bus driver on the dashboard. I was starving

The one time that happened to me, I gave birth to my son later that day - after a relatively easy 2-hour labor. So, yeah, it's good luck.

Perhaps if you were honest about the bird poop and apologized for any inconvenience you may have gotten the job. Employers love honesty and loyalty from employees they hire, it provides a sense of trust, perhaps she sensed you were hiding something and didn't find you suitable for being part of the team. I would of been honest from the start about the bird poop and laugh it out with her, it would of given her sense of charisma and something to remember and stand out from the rest being interviewed for the spot, it would also provide her insight on how you are able to manage with stress or inconvenience on the job. IMO
