Bullying in Bethesda an CC elementaries

"Close to the truth" how, PP? Sexual contact with another without that person's consent is not sexual assault? Or maybe it's only kind of sexual assault? Or it's only sexual assault if it happens in the subway, but not if it happens at school? Or...?

I grew up in a family of boys. "Grab ass" has nothing to do with grabbing a boys ass. Its when boys (or girls) chase each other around the playground and sometimes there is physical contact.

Its just a phrase people. Lighten up.

A kid looks at another sideways and its bullying. A girl gossips about another girl. Its bullying. Boys play grab ass and its bullying. A ball goes astray on the playground and hits the slow kid in the head and its bullying.

These things have been going on since schools were invented.

By 2014 they will find a new social problem to whine about.

I bet you're a peach. Actually I bet you are the mother of one of the boys at our school who were called into the Principal's office for "grab ass" as you call it or "sexual assault" as the school called it. Deflect all you want, but rest assured all the other parents know exactly what happened and they are judging you and your lovely child accordingly.

I think it used to be an issue, but our principal said the county had abolished bullying.

Easily. If you CHOOSE to treat people poorly and a teacher or school
call with a resonable accusation of Bullying:

No TV
No Computer/electronics (except for HW)
No weekend activities other than cleaning out closets, mowing the lawn,
Washing and waxing our cars.

Your basic deprivation of privledges. It's not hard folks.

Apologies would be made verbally and with notes to the kids, too by my
Child and you better believe I would call the parents and speak to them,
Letting them know that WE don't tolerate bullying from our kid.

Further, instead of blowing it off, like most parents, we'd follow up
With the school (teachers/counselors,etc) AND ask the other parents to
Please let us know if an episode occurred again.

Once our Child has earned some trust, privileges will be slowly returned.
If another peep about our kid teasing or bullying happened, back to
The deprivation of privileges.

See, the problem is none of those are likely to stop a child who is really a bully.

What the child needs is meds, therapist and social skills group.

No, that game is called "tag." Grab ass is one form of sexual assault.

Good lord what middle school are you talking about?!

seriously - the first PP is full of shit. While Im sure there are BJs going on in all MS's - including PRIVATE - it is a complete full-on exaggeration that you're kid is bullied if they don't give blow jobs. My DD is well liked and quite popular Im pretty damn sure she's never been on her knees!
