| Newish teetotaler here. I haven't had any alcohol in a decade. Family history of alcoholism. It's a real buzz kill to drink and worry whether the drink you're knocking back will be the one to lead you to alcoholism. Also helps that I take an anti-depressant and alcohol is contraindicated. |
HAHAHAHA...this woman's name is Reckless?? What did people expect her to do?! As for the question, at least 1 a day. |
|
2-4, generally only on weekends. In the summer I may have a beer during the week, on a warm night on the patio.
|
This shouldn't be enough to affect anyone's liver enzymes. I usually have 1 (sometimes 2) glasses of wine a night. Once a month or so if I'm out, I may have 3-4. Very, very occasionally I'll drink more than that and pay for it dearly the next morning. |
IMO I think people are drinking more frequently, but in smaller amounts per sitting. The uptick in microbrews, small-batch liquor, affordable good wine, etc. has made people more interested in trying new things. |
Are you kidding me? Of course it is. My guess is her ALT is in the 60s. |
Me, too. |
| Right now none as I'm pregnant, but normally, 1-2 a week. |
Pfft. Just had a normal liver function test come back. I think a lot of people overestimate the resilience of the human body.

and beat their wives |
| About half a glass of Sauvignon Blanc every night. |
Hate to break it to you but people still beat their wives in this day and age. |
Lol riiiight. Go back to your temperance meeting. |
| A glass of wine or 2 every night |
This exactly. Never thought this could be a possibility back in my 20's when I had more like 4-5 drinks 3 times a week. |
