17:58 - I forgot to say due to logistical constraints with the ex who lives in Loudoun County, I can't move as far as Silver Spring or Takoma.
Thanks 18:58 - I actually saw that house on Beall and loved it! But I was nervous about all the talk about gangs and violence at Richard Montgomery. I have no experience with that school district, but it made me feel uneasy. Apparently most of the folks in that hood apparently do private school.

What about this, OP?
http://mocorealestate.com/idx/mls-mc7994314-10448_parthenon_ct_bethesda_md_20817 Feeds to Walter Johnson cluster and well within your price range. |
OP here. I am going to see it tomorrow! Weather permitting. Thank you! |
PP here. I just wanted to say that there are quite a few townhomes off of Tuckerman in 20852 (North Bethesda), also in the WJ cluster. We live near there and while I don't think there's much this weekend, there are usually listings around there regularly. If you have some time I bet you might see something that fits your needs quite nicely. We like that neighborhood. The schools are good and it's near the Grosvenor metro. |

Thanks PP! Sadly the Parthenon place has already gone to contract.
I am definitely interested in that area. Seems like a great location! |
| Condo fees of $900 a month?!? HOLY MOLY! |

If you can wait a while for Metro to open around Reston, why not there? Ex is in Loudoun, it helps your kid be close to both sets of parents.
The less than a mile from the Metro thing is going to hamper you unless your field is one that is heavily DC-centric. You can easily get a TH in Leesburg/Frederick for even under $400k (Frederick does have MARC rail, and both are accessible to Point of Rocks.) |
