Best elementary schools in Mclean

In that part of Falls Church, residents pay for McLean taxes and services so it is McLean for those most all purposes. Guess where the kids play little league and soccer? McLean. Only the mailing address is Falls Church.

Haycock AAP serves 4 schools in Falls Church and two in McLean.
It is definitely not a McLean school.

But it's in the McLean pyramid so it might as well be.

Are you one of those parents who says you live in the "Falls Church part of McLean?"

No. Is it the "Falls Church part of McLean" or "McLean part of Falls Church"?

Anyway, no need to be churlish. As PP noted, the residents in that part of Falls Church pay a special "McLean tax district" assessment that supports the McLean Community Center, Old Firehouse, and so forth.

I live in that area, kids go to that school and we DO NOT pay Mclean taxes or any part of the community funds. If we want to send our kids to McLean community Center taxes we pay non-residence price.

Um, OK. The vast majority of people in-boundary for Haycock, putting aside the AAP assignments, have a Falls Church address and live in the McLean tax assessment district.

Ridiculous - there are a lot of houses less expensive than that in the Churchill Road ES district, and there are entire neighborhoods where few, if any, of the houses go for that much.

I didn't know elementary school kids perused the real estate assessment records.

The border for McLean Little League is actually north of I66.
