| Thinking of moving to McLean. Don't know anything about the area. My husband works in DC and wants a short commute to work. Which are the best elementary schools? Thanks!!! |
| They are all very good. You can't go wrong with any of them. |
| There is one poster who pushes Chesterbrook, Churchill Road and Spring Hill, but they are all good. The areas closest to DC will be zoned for Chesterbrook, Frankin Sherman and Churchill Road. |
| We are very pleased with Kent Gardens. |
|
Forthe love of god people.... the only school that is worth sending your children to is Haycock. That's H-A-Y-C-O-C-K.
The rest are worthless cesspools filled with lower class general ed idiots. |
LOL!
|
Haycock is in Falls Church. |
HEYCOCK would have been a much more fun spelling. By the way-nothing against Haycock, just sayin'
|
| Haycock is seeking to jettison kids as fast as possible dur to overcrowding. Other schools are AAP centers too --one of those is what you want. |
| westgate |
|
Haycock is not in McLean. Westgate is not in McLean.
There are no bad elementary schools in McLean. Lots of DCUM love for Spring Hill, Churchill and Chesterbrook. |
You sound like my DH. Their mascot is the cougar. He has a blast with Hey cock cougars.
|
DH sounds like one classy dude.
|
| It's a joke, PP, and one made in private. Apparently, humor has no place in your home. Bet it's hard to sit with that firmly implanted stick. |
| But lots of the AAP kids at Haycock are from the McLean neighborhood schools. |
