Do you wash your hands after you use the restroom?

Urine is sterile INSIDE the body. It can pick up lots of bacteria upon its exit. Are these people under the impression that urine remains sterile in perpetuity?

OP and hand washer here. Urine can pick up bacteria upon exit but I doubt it will pick up any bacteria within the 20 seconds you take to pee, therefore, when you wipe, you're still touching "sterile" pee. Yes/no?

No. There is a reason you get a prep wipe before giving a urine sample at the doctor's office. To remove the bacteria, etc. that is on your body so it doesn't end up in the sample.

We're getting into tmi territory, so I apologize for that, but urine leaving a woman's body has more opportunity to come into contact with bacteria than it does when it exits from a man's body.

I believe both sexes are represented on the non-washer side.

Yes, but I prefer to lick them clean as a cat does.

Pp again. But on the handwashing topic, I'm assuming men touch their penises while peeing, and therefore have the transfer of bacteria directly to their hands anyway, so I'm not implying that men should be absolved of washing up afterwards.

At DCUM, TMI doesn't exist. No seriously. The pee hole on a woman is as much exposed or shielded as a guy. The folds of you labia can be compared to my foreskin (if we want to use that as places to pick up bacteria).

I wash, but I definitely see other women who don't. I'm always surprised, because I would think peer pressure would turn everyone into washers. I assume women who don't wash think bathrooms are really dirty and want to minimize their time in the bathroom-is that it?

I do all the time as an adult. I never did as a child and my mom never reminded me.

1) If I peed on my hands in front of you and extended my hand for a hand shake, would you shake it?

2) If I peed on my hand in front of you , dried it off with TP, then extended my hand for a hand shake, would you shake it?

But I don't get pee on my hands when I use the bathroom. If I do, then I wash my hands.

Don't you get that you touch all the surfaces that other people touch? And that the toilet sprays particles around when it flushes? Meaning when you exit the stall, you touch many peoples' fecal matter. Disease is spread this way- regardless of whether or not you peed all over your hands.

This is going to sound OCD and I swear I am not a germ freak but I actually wash before and after 100 percent of the time. I just feel like if I am going to be wiping my vag or my ass I want clean hands to pull down the toilet paper.

Always do no matter where I am. Anyone that doesn't is a nasty, lazy pig.

Well, yeah. Why would I want to walk around with pee or poop on my hands? That's just weird to me.

Sorry, I'm not a person who doesn't wash when outside of my own home. I always do.
