I am exactly the same. Never wash after peeing at home. Almost always wash after peeing anywhere outside of my home (bathrooms are dirty). Always wash after pooping no matter where I am. My sister is horrified that I don't wash my hands every.single.time. Whatever. |
|
To the people who do not wash:
1) If I peed on my hands in front of you and extended my hand for a hand shake, would you shake it? 2) If I peed on my hand in front of you , dried it off with TP, then extended my hand for a hand shake, would you shake it? |
| I always wash my hands outside. At home, I only do it when I poo. |
But I don't get pee on my hands when I use the bathroom. If I do, then I wash my hands. |
OP and hand washer here. Urine can pick up bacteria upon exit but I doubt it will pick up any bacteria within the 20 seconds you take to pee, therefore, when you wipe, you're still touching "sterile" pee. Yes/no? |
Who pees on their hands? Seriously? When I use the bathroom, I touch my clothing, the toilet paper, and the handle to flush. |
|
I always wash after a poop.
I always wash after a pee in a public restroom. I only sometimes wash after a pee at home. I do not get urine on my hands, nor do I touch my genitals. If, by chance, one of those things does happen, then I definitely wash. |
You didn't answer the question (if you're a non washer unless you pee-ed on you hands) |
Okay, my answer is no to both questions. |
Guys "shake it off". Sometimes, drops hand on fingers. Girls.....ever used too little TP and it soaked thru? Or overspray touched the non TP'ed part of you wiping hand? |
| Absolutely, always |
| For those of you who don't wash your hands, do you realize that the person who used the public bathroom before you may have pooped and touched the stall lock and flushed the toilet BEFORE washing their hands? So when you're leaving without washing your hands...get it? It's gross! |
Was just about to post this!! |
+1. There are so many reasons to wash your hands unrelated to what actually happens in the stall that it's upsetting that people are so ambivalent. |
| Always. You're there. The sink is there. The soap is there. There's even some towels to dry your hands. It may not be the pee or the poop from 2 min ago, but the shopping cart, the lunch counter, the gas pump, etc from earlier in the day. You're hands get dirty and germy during the day. Why not use the restroom as an opportunity to clean them? |
