The idea was to give them some sense of the severity of the outage, but I guess next time I won't bother since you judge me unhelpful.

i heard the tornado touched down in the baileys crossroads area. Waiting on the news to see any updated reports

According to dominion website, down to 40k without power. It was 100k at 5 pm. It was 50k half an hour ago. Hoping this means the rest of us will have it back by morning.

Fairfax County is reporting there was no tornado in Fairfax County as previously reported and it was straight line winds.

Have you checked your fuse box?

It sounds like a power surge might have tripped some fuses.

Still no power on the west side of FCC. Whole neighborhood is still out. Lots of big branches down, some damage to some houses.
