This post reminds me of the time when I tagged along with my DH to a conference he was attending in Sea Island, GA. OMG! Those women all took their bag ass Gucci, LV, Prada bags to the pool, it was hilarious!

I'm from Georgia and this is soooo Sea Island it hurts. Then again, in Georgia, Coach is still considered a designer label bag, so these women really think they're breaking the mold with an LV.

Haha i feel like op is that wannabe cool kid. I've been all around the world and the people i see who are wearing/bringing ridiculous things for the situation (platform stilettos at the pool) are usually the jersey shore /real housewife wannabes that get made fun of by everyone else. But hey op, if you want to be laughed at while in your head you think everyone must be jealous of you, then bring both!!!

Yeah, but Sea Island is very luxurious. The only place fancier than the Cloister is the Sanctuary in Kiawah.

Yes, Sea Island is beautiful, and I really enjoyed my time there.

you would have been better off either describing the bags as oppose to dropping the labels but for some reason im thinking your goal was to name drop anyway.

to answer your questions, ive read that sand prefer the feel of gucci leather so thats your best bet. if you are laying the bag on a towel, beach towels prefer the feel of furla so its up to how you plan on using the bags.

have you decided if you are taking your LV luggage or the trunk? i think the luggage doesnt scream "look at me" like the trunk does so go with that
