OP was pregnant when she accepted the position. Why could she not address these concerns at that time? Disabled, pregnant, or an otherwise healthy person are given job descriptions. If a person is not able to perform those duties at any given time, they can be suspended. You can not expect someone to magically create a new position because you now can not lift any longer. Yes it would be nice but that does not happen in the real world. What people are failing to realize, those that are saying file EEOC, is that OP was not FIRED. She was suspended until her condition gets better and she can now perform the job duties she was told to do or until a new position opens up. None of this is illegal and all is fair. It is fine to take on any job because you need it but when you are pregnant, and having responsibilities, you have to think about long term employment.
