| it's far healthier to have a real coke 1-2X a week than a diet soda every day. |
| I love it when people will order a big, fatty meal -- burger, fries, etc. -- and then a diet soda. Really? If you are going to eat that much junk, just go for the regular soda!! |

don't believe the majority of crazy eco posters. I read other threads about eating almond nut butter in the morning (NOT DHs) and other Natural stuff that's fatty. The current craze is natural "healthy foods" what the moron's don't realize is natural granola has a ton of FAT and sugar. OH and you are supposed to eat like a handful of nuts.
I do splenda for everything always diet sodas and eat low fat high protein and a lot fiber and I am fine, feel great and look good. |
key word in BIG FONT, are you a scientist? Do you understand how science of the body works? if a diet soda is zero calories of flavored carbonated water you will NOT gain weight compared to regular DIET COKE PLUS (COCA-COLA) Serving Size: 1 can Calories: 0 Total Fat: 0g Carbs: 0g Protein: 0g COCA COLA CLASSIC 12OZ CAN (COCA-COLA) Serving Size: 1 can (12 oz) Calories: 140 Total Fat: 0g Carbs: 39g Protein: 0g Nutrition Facts Serving Size: 1 can (12 oz) Amount per Serving Calories 140 Calories from Fat 0.0 % Daily Value * Total Fat 0g 0% Saturated Fat 0g 0% Cholesterol 0% Sodium 50mg 2% Total Carbohydrate 39g 13% Dietary Fiber 0g 0% Sugars 39g Protein 0g 0% Est. Why don't diet sodas work? Work to do what, OP? They are not a magic tool to weight loss if that's what you are asking.
If you drink diet soda with the expectation that simply drinking diet soda will "work" to lose weight, well of course it won't. If your drink it as part of a balanced plan to lose weight, it's not going to make you gain weight. You will still lose weight. If you drink it along with an excess of calories, it will make you gain weight. |
Some of us don't like the taste of sugar. A Coke will make the meal taste too sweet. Despite what other posters think, drinking Diet Coke doesn't make me crave sweet things. I actually crave salty things. I gave up Diet Coke in the past, and it did nothing for my weight. Counting calories made me lose weight. |
no, it does not. i can't stand sweet things. |
uh - I'm sure you'll live to be 100 . . . |
You're a dolt, PP. If you can't figure out that water is best and moderation is the key (oh the HORROR of adding a teaspoon of REAL sugar in your coffee!), then you deserve to waste your money on soda and fake sugar. exercise, PP? Or are you really into quick fixes? |
