Anyone hear from LAMB yet?

Also, it sounds like some cards didn't even go into the mail until yesterday.

We got our postcard today and we are in the 620's. Great way to end the day...

Per the postcard there were 633 applicants for ps3. If that was the case the waitlist should only go up to 600 or so as 20 or 30 would have been accepted. In that case why do so many of us have numbers well into the 600s??

I was just thinking it seemed a little odd that, of the several DCUMers that responded, most had REALLY high numbers. I guess they could have sent out cards to the highest numbers first, but that seems a little backwards. Weird.

I thought being in the 290s was horrible...well it is, but could be worse. I'm hoping those that post with all their glorious options IT/Stokes/MV/EL are just imposters. No one can be that lucky, right? Makes me wonder.

I'm one of the ones with a 620s wait list number. We applied to 6 DCPS and 6 Charters and did not get into any, including our in-bounds school-- one that we would be very happy at (we are at the bottom of that wait list too and the school has already told us they are unlikely to get very far down the wait list). We have a wait list number in the teens at one of the charters-- but are not sure how we would make the commute work for us.

Oh well. I don't think we can have as bad of luck next year as we did this year (so I hope). At least little sister will get sibling preference when it is her turn for PS in 2 years!

At least you have a decent in-boundary option for K! We are in the same boat but no in-boundary to hope for when DD is in K.

120s for PS3, and we live around the corner from the school. Sigh...well, that dream has died.

I also got a postcard in the mail today in the 600's for ps3. That's weird that so many of us are in the 600's.

But on the flip side, at least I can discount the school completely (for this year, at least). I'd rather get a definite no than a number in the 20's or 30's and then spend months in agony playing out what-if's in my head.
