I am with friends. I do need to call someone, I'm trying to get the nerve. I can't sleep, and I have been taking showers all day. I feel dirty, and can't get his smell off of me. Thank you all for your concern.

You said you're on the border of DC - if it happens to be in Montgomery County - I highly recommend going to the Family Justice Center in Rockville - they serve Montgomery County residents who are victims of domestic violence (including rape). They can help you file a police report if you want and/or get a protective order for yourself and kids if you have children.

Also, they will be able to give you a free cell phone, legal help, and other resources to help you get away.

my husband did the same and the police are not cooperative..they take it as marital discord...not crime!
