Minis - Kalua, Vodka and Baileys
Obviously some people did not like the favor though because we had a whole bunch that night.

Best-Little jars of locally harvested organic honey.
Worst-Cookies in mesh bag. Crumbs were all over the purse. |
| We set up a self serve candy bar with bags at our wedding. I think it was pretty popular. |
| Food. Particularly food that is special to the couple. Always well received. And those who don't want leave it, and those who love it take a second for their kids or whatever. |
| Best favor I've gotten was at a wedding shower, which was a cooking class at Sur La Table. We each got a little 1/4 cup liquid measuring cup (filled with candies). I use thing every single day. |
This is cute! Mostly because the story is great. |
| We were married in Austin. Round rock is a suburb outside of austin. Lone Star bakery in RR is known for their doughnuts. The bakery packaged up the doughnuts for us. Everyone loved them..it seems. |
| We gave everyone a little tea gift bag. It had a heart shaped tea infuser, a magnetic tea tin to go on a fridge or something and then a few different flavors of loose leaf tea. |
| We had the caterer offer warm chocolate chip cookies to guests as they left along with coffee to go. Those that wanted to partake did and there were no leftover goodie bags to mess with. The cookies were fabulous! |
Electric Slide? |
| We gave white ceramic angel ornaments with a small tag with our names and the date. 15 years later we still get Christmas cards from people mentioning they use the ornament every year. |

Friends of ours gave out little boxes of chocolates from Artisan Chocolates in Arlington. Awesome.
We did not give favors, but my bridesmaids loved their gift. I got them each a gift certificate for a half-hour massage at a spa back where they lived (Wedding required travel for everyone). |
| Went to my cousin's wedding a few weeks back and they had a picture booth with props, and the pictures were similar to the ones where you get 3-4 pictures on a 2 by 8 sheet, but in color, not black and white. The bride and groom received a copy of each picture sheet, which was placed in a book and was then signed by the persons who had their picture taken. It was so cool! The line was long during the entire reception. You could request up to 3 copies of each session too. By the end of the night, the book was full of pictures for the bride and groom!!! |
We are getting married this fall and are considering doing things. We aren't planning on doing a favor unless we do the photo both or come up with some other non-crap idea. |
