If my DH were cheating, and a friend knew and didn't tell me, I might never forgive the friend. Seriously. If you are afraid to get caught in the crossfire, then find a way to do it anonymously. But ignorance is not bliss. We all have the right to know the truth about our marriages.

Exactly- why have friends then? You should be able to trsut that your friend has your best interest at heart and wants to protect you even if it means telling you one of the worst things you might ever find out.

Blackmail, of course, and then that person would have irrefutable evidence of you committing a felony, report you, you are charged, tried, and convicted and maybe you'll be out of jail in time to sneak in to see one of your children graduate from high school, college, or get married. This was a general statement about wanting to know and friendships. I dont know what kind of scam the OP is pulling...but I dont think I want her to be my friend.

Blackmail is illegal and my friend's marriage is absolutely none of my business.

I also wouldn't expect my friends to police my marriage and I can't imagine being angry with them for my spouse fooling around.
