It is not a matter of him being blameless because, yes, Obama has absolutely nothing to do with this. Nevertheless, his uncle is here illegally and was DUI, arrested, insisting on calling the White House. It is this perception that is important. The question is: will he have his uncle deported? Obama may be brilliant but he doesn't seem to have a lot of common sense, e.g., trying to schedule a joint session of Congress on Sept. 7, the day Congress reconvenes and the night when a GOP debate is scheduled. Common sense will probably not prevail about his uncle, either.

God created legal and illegal human beings. The illegals are sinners by birth, the legals are better people, but still sinners

People, the guy, who was ordered by a judge to be deported in 1992, blew a .14. He was behind the wheel of a car with possession of ILLEGAL government documents. MSNBC reported the incident under the auspicious of debating the merits of deportation for the offense of drinking and driving. I'll chalk the lack of media coverage up to an evolution of discriminating taste in what the people of America want to really learn about. CNN's choice to cover SNOOKI on AC's Ridiculist was by far a better choice than the President's illegal relative blowing a zinger on his way home from his job at a Boston liquor store. Glad CNN took the high road.

No one is disputing that DUIs are bad or that his case has and still is being reviewed for possible deportation.

The issue is that the original poster made this into some flaw of the president. THAT is the absurdity.
