Democrats, are you scared of Romney?

No it is disagreeing with your opinion.

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=closed-minded

1. closed-minded One who thinks that just because he hates it means everyone else should.
<closed-minded person> Dude, anime is gay. It's for Wapanese otakus who have nothing better to do than emulate Japanese culture.

2. closed-minded
The opposite of open-minded (DUH-uh!).

Many people are under the mistaken impression that the first person who says "You're just being closed-minded" in a debate is automatically the winner; frequently, the first person who says this has simply run out of facts.

Contrary to popular belief, it's also not always bad to be closed-minded, especially towards ideas which are easily demonstrated to be false or foolish.
I'm very open-minded about space exploration, but I'm very closed-minded about doing a space walk without a spacesuit.

3. closed-minded
one who doesn't accept an idea, or person for one or more reasons closed-minded person: Rock sucks because it doesn't sound as cool as rap.

4. Closed-Minded
The average Conservative or Liberal.
Conservative: You are the pinnacle of evil and stupidity, you Liberal hippie!

Liberal: At least I don't bash anyone who disagrees with me!

Conservative: You don't do anything! You're so closed-minded!

Liberal: Your closed-minded!

5. closed-minded unaccepting of new information or opposing viewpoints. Often basing his or her personal opinions in moral or religious teachings. S/He believes they already have the answer and no longer need to continue learn by intellectual argument. Having faith.
Christians are closed-minded when it comes to accepting scientific evidence regarding evolution.

You are really quite stupid if you think anything is this cut and dry.

You need a dictionary. Look up bigot. You will find yourself. If you associate with a group of people who make and stand by remark such as these, you agree with the remark.

“Have you ever noticed how all composite pictures of wanted criminals resemble Jesse Jackson?”

“The NAACP should have riot rehearsal. They should get a liquor store and practice robberies.”

''The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama's 'death panel.'''

—Sarah Palin, in a message posted on Facebook about Obama's health care reform plan, Aug. 7, 2009

"I hope that's not where we're going, but you know if this Congress keeps going the way it is, people are really looking toward those Second Amendment remedies and saying my goodness what can we do to turn this country around? I'll tell you the first thing we need to do is take Harry Reid out." —Nevada GOP Senate candidate Sharron Angle, floating the possibility of armed insurrection in a radio interview, Jan. 2010

"It is not enough to be abstinent with other people, you also have to be abstinent alone. The Bible says that lust in your heart is committing adultery. You can't masturbate without lust! ... You're going to be pleasing each other. And if he already knows what pleases him and he can please himself, then why am I in the picture?" —Delaware GOP Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell, advocating against masturbation in a 1996 MTV interview

"What I don't like from the president's administration is this sort of, 'I'll put my boot heel on the throat of BP.' I think that sounds really un-American in his criticism of business. I've heard nothing from BP about not paying for the spill. And I think it's part of this sort of blame-game society in the sense that it's always got to be someone's fault instead of the fact that sometimes accidents happen." —Kentucky GOP Senate candidate Rand Paul, May 21, 2010

Main stream view Rick Perry
On Thursday, Perry called potential secession a "side issue of Texas history. ... We are very proud of our Texas history; people discuss and debate the issues of can we break ourselves into five states, can we secede, a lot of interesting things that I'm sure Oklahoma and Pennsylvania would love to be able to say about their states, but the fact is, they can't because they're not Texas."
http://www.statesman.com/news/content/region/legislature/stories/04/17/0417gop.html

Later in the debate, the two sparred over Social Security, with Perry reiterating claims he has made that the retirement program is a “Ponzi scheme” and a “monstrous lie” to “our kids” because it can’t remain solvent for future generations.

Wow - if I had known I was going to be responsible for anything ever said by anyone I associate with, I would have done more in-depth background checks.

16:16 We are talking about a political party and what the leaders and presidential candidates of that party are saying. Why else would you join, associate, or call yourself a member of a political party if you do not belief in what they are saying? So, no back round check needed, just listen to what they are saying and join if you agree.
This is Palinist>> "be responsible for anything ever said by anyone I associate with"

So exactly who counts as a leader? And do you necessarily agree with everything said by every candidate? How do you choose in the primary, then.

And can't you identify with a party generally and disagree with things said by the current leaders? Do you agree with every word out of Obama's mouth? That's a little creepy.

The United States lost its triple A rating because of Congress - read their report. Blame Obama, but you're so very wrong.

Romney scares me a lot less than Bachman and Perry.

Unfortunately, these are the same people that think Obama was born in Kenya and is a Muslim. They believe what they want to believe because they are ignorant fools.

Not to dispute the existence of ignorant fools, I think it is a widespread human frailty, independent of political outlook or even intelligence, that we tend to believe what we want to believe. I, for example, believe, as 2nd PP said above, that the Republicans in Congress bear a greater share of the blame for losing the triple A, although I also think that S&P was not justified in its action in any case. But I admit that, although I think I am objectively correct, I have not done any deep investigating to come to that conclusion, which coincidentally happens to fit my own biases.

Of course its all Obamas fault. Bush left a AAA country and and economy robust enough for Obama to waste an entire year on Obamacare. If the economy was so bad Obama would never have wasted an entire year and ignoring the economy. Obama lost the AAA rating after 2+ years of moronic and retarded "leadership".

He left us with an extra 3 trillion of debt, a financial meltdown (their words) and added nearly 4 percentage points to unemployment. McCain thought that "robust". The public thought otherwise and failed to elect him.

Perry will take the GOP nomination. He's George Bush without the charm. God help us all. But don't underestimate Obama's abilty to crush balls on the campaign trail. Remember Hilary?
