broken A/C at the Cosi in Dupont Circle: What Would You Do?

There is a building near me that leases space to restaurants. The no AC was a continual problem for every restaurant that moved into the space. For years it was vacant.

Why have you taken it upon yourself to go all Norma Rae on Cosi? Let it go, your obsession is beginning to take a turn for the strange.

Besides Cosi is filthy and their food is trash, doesn't everyone already know this?

It's a sad day when an individual, trying to look out for other individuals, is called obsessed, strange, and norma rae. But whatever. Keep living in your little bubbles, folks. Hopefully you'll never be in a situation when you're being taken advantage of and could use someone to stick up for you.

Well I'm very worried that OP's employer is losing money due to her spending her afternoon in a battle with Cosi. OP, please post your supervisor's contact information so we can inform your company that you are wasting company resources.

SEIU. Knock yourself out.

Back to the original purpose of this post (and ignoring much of the silly commentary), there is another Cosi on Wisconsin near the DC - Maryland border where the AC is frequently "not working". One day in the spring, when it was not quite as hot yet still uncomfortable, we complained and it magically got cooler. We have been back a couple of times in the summer, they have the doors open but it is uncomfortably hot inside. I can't help but suspect it is some attempt to save on electricity cost, which to me is penny-wise but pound foolish.

We will not walk back there until fall.
