Question for the "older" moms

You may not be at the level you want to be but you will feel better if you even make time for yourself to walk daily. And you'll feel better when you hit your 50s!

LOVE this advice. In general, just take time to take care of yourself so you enjoy your time with your kid more. Whether your thing is yoga, walking, weightlifting - whatever keeps you strong, sane, and healthy, do it.

I also like the advice about spending time outside with your kid. My best memories of being a kid - also reflected in pictures - are from times we were out hiking, camping, cycling.

Advice I should probably heed on this beautiful day.

Give the children time to develop their talents and skills. They may be the slowest swimmer at 8, and the fastest at 14. They never like being pushed.

Definitely take time for yourself, if you are able hire a sitter for a couple hours a week one day to give yourself some time alone or to have lunch with a friend.
