S/O what do you do w DH every night?

I'm pregnant and tired so I try to get in bed by 10ish to flip through a magazine and fall asleep. Before that we come home and do dinner, eat with DD, and I usually get her to bed at 8 while he cleans up, etc. (or not but he's usually pretty good).

He sometimes has work to do which he usually does on our kitchen table on his lap top. I watch TV or get online in the living room a few feet away. Sometimes we do laundry. It's all so exciting. We do actually talk sometimes, especially if something is going on at work or if we are trying to plan out the weekend.

We were trying to get in the habit of having sex more but then I got pregnant...I'm hoping those crazy hormones will kick in soon so we get back to that. So far I'm just really tired and having toe cramps.

It's funny, we stayed at my parents this weekend and because there was so much less for us to do (parents cooked, helped out and entertained our toddler, etc.), I noticed DH and I talked so much more! Like actually sat down in a room with no TV and laptops and chatted, just the two of us. There is hope!

This is us. DH cooks, I help. I actually had a developmental ped get very upset with me because our children (both toddlers) do not eat with us. I admitted I don't want to eat with them. I am entitled to one peaceful meal a day with my husband! When they get older, they are welcome to join us. Don't be pressured to give this up! Happy marriage = happy family! I think some people forget this.

We co-sleep so DH puts DC to bed while I remove my lenses and wash my face/brush teeth. By the time I come in DC is asleep and DH is in bed.

We usually start talking about our day, we make plans, gossip, talk about family, and eventually fall asleep. Sex happens when DH wakes me up rubbing against me in the middle of the night or before afternoon nap when he's working from home.
