S/O what do you do w DH every night?

Talk, read together, sometimes watch a show together, sex - or snack!

We usually eat dinner together and talk for at least 15-30 minutes - just catch up on day, etc. Then sometimes we watch a TV show together. If no TV, sometimes my DH sits on the couch and surfs the web and I read. Sometimes he goes to his office and I read. Some nights we had to bed early and fool around.

We sit 10 feet away from each other in the living room and surf the web on laptops. Sometimes the TV is on in the background if a DVR'd show is promising.

Lately he goes into the other room with the larger TV to "watch sports" (that's a pretext) and sits there texting the young woman he's having an affair with. This is a true story.

During the week I go the master bedroom and read, he goes to the family room and watches tv or plays video games. We have a date night on Fridays to watch a movie. We haven't had sex in months and it doesn't bother me anymore.

2 kids under 5, both work full time, he travels a lot for his job and has a stressful job. I have an absolutely meaningless boring job.
Dinner, play time, bath, stories/tv, bedtime for them.
Us:
Half the time (mostly weekdays) - I'm tired, go to bed after the kids, he watches tv, responds to emails on BB.
Other half the time (mostly weekends) - talk, watch tv, but mostly "dual surf" for our dream home. Its our strange hobby. We love finding places we'd love to live and showing each other. And then we make love. I put it this way and not sex because it sounds so "routine" to say we had sex. Although not the crazy mad passionate sex we used to have, we vary it, including changing what room

By the time DH comes home at 11pm, I have fed, bathed, read to, nursed and put the kids to bed. Also cooked, eaten and washed up. Prepared his dinner. So we have a few minutes to catch up on our day, then I fall into bed.

When he's not working late, we sit down to discuss long-term plans, watch television or fool around.

After we put the kids to bed, we both start on household chores- he irons our clothes, we clean up from dinner, he sweeps the floor/takes garbage out/waters the yard, we make the kids' lunches for the next day, all the whole chatting with each other. After that mad rush, we collapse on the couch next to each other where he watches TV and I surf the net and we continue chatting. I go to bed earlier than he does though.

DH works in BigLaw and I am almost always asleep when he gets home from work (only to work from home for another hour). Our family time is in the morning since both DH and I don't have to be at work until 9 or 9:30. If I'm still awake when he gets home, we tell each other about our days.

Another wife of biglaw. DH comes home early enough for family dinner, then we wash up the kids and put them to bed. DH goes back to work in his office, and I clean up and get ready for the next day and fall asleep.
