Which will be the next charter to get popular on DCUM?

Up and coming bilingual school in Brookland. Immersion spanish preschool-2, then spanish classes 3-8 and latin classes 5-8. International travel at the end of 8th grade. Forward thinking administration. I can't wait to see what develops...

"The Mary McLeod Bethune Day Academy Public Charter School was founded in 2003 and opened its doors for students in August 2004." They have been around for years. why are they considered "up and coming?"

I can't find any data on Bethune, how come they are not in the DC Public Charter Performance Reports?

Or, if you're so confident of them, why don't you just share Yogi? We look at the data we have, if you want to challenge it that's great, but please post. Not everyone has time to sort through filters.

Look at their test scores - absolutely miserable. That says they're not doing a job. I don't know anyone who would consider a school with those numbers, that's not a good reputation. If we disagree on this, then I would suggest we have different standards.

They are not as bad as Bancroft and yet people seem to have a better view and more faith in that school. Makes me go 'hmmm'...

On another note: I love how ballsy people get when they are speaking or typing anonymously. It makes me giggle a little...
