Does your toddler eat salad?

I have 3 kids.

1 will not touch salad or any veggie

2nd will occasionally be interested in my lettuce if it has enough salad dressing on it.

3rd LOVES salad - mostly tomatoes, but also likes everything else.

Each child is different!

My 2.5 year old apparently eats salad at his daycare but it's another story at home....FAIL! We still put a little on his plate and DH and I eat salad on our own.

DDs (3.5yrs old and 22 mo.) love to make salad - sometimes we add cold pasta and make it a pasta salad (tomatoe, cucumber, carrot, peas, etc.)

Sometimes we make the "traditional" salad with chunks of lettuce (easier to stab with a fork and easier to chew) and add fresh veggies and crunchy things (even apples and pears for sweetness) to jazz it up.

When I get the kids involved (including letting them pick it out at the store) and allowing them to add and mix to the salad bowl they are more likely to eat it.
