how much will you spend on a bra?

34F here. Spend about $100-150 on Rigby and Pellar bras, which are beautiful and last for many years. Before I had a job, I used to buy cheaper bras and had to replace them every year or two because they would fall apart...

I wish I was a boy who is making this up, but unfortunately, it's my life and I hate it. I'd love a reduction, but it's not in my financial future (work for the government, so does DH).

I hate having a large bust!!!!!!!

I like Chantelle as well, but they're expensive! Sometimes your insurance will pay for a reduction if it is medically necessary (shoulder pain/back pain)

If you ever get yourself professionally fitted for a bra, you will probably be surprised to see that your cup size goes up and your strap size goes down.
I always thought I was a 36C and when I got measured, I am now a 34DD (or E) depending on the bra.

I have bought a couple of expensive bras - $60+ and I rotate them. They have now last for a couple of years, but it is probably time to update them.

Ditto- I thought I was a 34B and I am a 32C.

Agreed. Either that or there's lots of bragplaining going on here.

Perhaps you overlooked the fact that OP is pregnant? Basic biology lesson: the pregnant breast doubles if not triples in size, and breastfeeding adds more volume. I went from 34b to 38DDD virtually overnight.

OP, when I find a bra that I really like that fits me perfectly, I look on ebay for it. There are many new bras and slightly imperfect bras on sale there for amazing prices.

I've consistently found my bras on eBay to be about $20 more than Nordstrom's price. Definitely comparison shop.

32DDD here. $50-$70 per bra. they are beautiful and sexy, and I was professionally fitted. You can spot a poorly fitted bra from a mile away, just like a bad nose job!

I rotate between 3 different ones, not including my sports bras.

Wash them in a netted garment bag, air dry only. they will last a long time with special care.
