are you smarter than a 5th grater and glee is big in our house |
Phineas and Ferb (I don't think there are commercials during the show when we watch-- just before or after, which we can fastforward through)
Top Chef and other cooking shows, Amazing Race (a little iffy sometimes) Avatar (on netflix-- a great animated show) |
My kids are 6&7 and we watch The Middle, (pre-screened epidsodes of) The Big Bang Theory, Swamp People, Billy the Exterminator, and Survivor. There really aren't the family friendly TV shows that were around when I was a kid. I loved Family Ties, The Facts of Life, Too Close for Comfort and Growing Pains. My younger sister liked all the TGIF shows ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TGIF_(ABC) ).
I must admit that I have let my 7 year old watch 16 and Pregnant. We always talk about how stupid the girls are and how the boys are constantly leaving after the baby is born. We talk about how important it is to wait to have a family and how most of these kids aren't that bright. |
I have 4 daughters, ages 9,7,4 and 1.5. They saw an epiosode of the Brady Bunch at a friends houise and loved it! I bought a CD collection and I have never heard them laugh louder watching anything else. I can't believe how much they love it. |
We are going through those now at our house. My daughter loves it! |
