Op, I don't now about the carnival, but have seen people attend for the last 7 years that we have lived nearby. We have two young ones, but have never been. I am always a little leery of traveling carnivals.

FWIW, that Mall is scheduled to be torn down soon. Like Springfield Mall, it will eventually become a walkable town center. If you follow the Mark Center redevelopment, you may be familiar with the plans.

Btw, we are minorities - at least for the time being given the changes in demographics in this country. I must say that much of the sentiment on this Board toward people that are not White is really disheartening. All I can do is shake my head in dismay. I guess times change, but ugly sentiments seem to die more slowly.
