it's naive to think that a little experimentation here and there means a person had "bad parents." you really think anyone who has done any experimentation with drugs or sex (alcohol included) has bad parents? then we all have bad parents. now, having said that, I do think Miley Cyrus has bad parents (but this is not the proof). |
| Don't know much about her parents but a conflict of interest is created when your minor child is the family breadwinner. |

This is a young girl surround by yes men. People want to be her friend (including her parents) so they can at least be on the coat tails of fame. They run the risk of being kicked out of her entourage if they suggest she not do something. How can people have real perspective when they don't have proper boundaries or a real idea of what is right and wrong.
Miley Cyrus was banned in our house years ago when pictures of her making "Asian eyes" surfaced. I am glad we made that choice then and it's not an issue for us now. |
Thank you for being a responsible parent. It is up to parents to control what they allow in their homes, not up to Miley Cyrus to model good behavior for your children. She is 18 and very obviously wants to ditch her Disney image. This video is not the first sign of that. |
I agree. He got great reviews for that play. I don't think it harmed him or his career at all. |
So as long as you get good reviews for your nudity, it's okay? Britney's sexy image helped, rather than hurt, her career in the beginning. |
It's not about good reviews. It's about a role, the transition to adulthood, and the laws are different in the UK. |
I'm not sure what your point is. Other than the drugs Lindsay did, none of the celebs in the first quoted post did anything illegal. |
Neither did Miley, right? Maybe just not as wholesome as you might think a Disney, Harry Potter or 7th Heaven star might be? |
I harbor no illusions that actors are saints, or are somehow any different than other teens. |
Yes, so Miley Cyrus is a DRUGGIE and a RACIST |
I wouldn't say that, she's just dumb and young. |
And not someone I would like my 7 year old to emulate. |
Good. You shouldn't turn to sitcoms on television to find people for your child to emulate, anyway. |
| As much as we don't like many kids look to celebs as role models. |
